All eirô consultants and technical staff have hands on real-world experience implementing eCommerce technology platforms, standards and integration solutions, including SAP. Our staff has taken leading roles in the management of deployments and implementations for operators, suppliers and third party service providers
Principals
Steven Carter
| Steven Carter has over 20 years of technical and operational experience in the upstream energy business. Most recently, he was Vice President Operations at Wellogix, where he was responsible for overseeing the deployment of company’s products, management of its ASP service and the development of the company's eCommerce Supplier Network. Prior to joining Wellogix, Steven was with OneOffshore where he served as Vice President of Technology and General Manager of the RigInsight business line. In that role, he led the development and successful commercialization of the company’s internet business. Steven started his career in the UK as a Petroleum Engineer with BP. During his twelve years with BP, he undertook a variety of technical and business roles in the US, Europe and Middle and Far East. He serves as Treasurer of the Digital Energy Study Group, SPE Gulf Coast Section and is Vice Chair of the API PIDX Global Business Practices Workgroup. |
Tim Morgan
| Tim has over 16 years experience in managing, designing, deploying and supporting complex technology systems. Prior to joining eirô consulting, he was Senior Director, Operations for Wellogix, responsible for building and managing an eCommerce Supplier Network; he is intimately familiar with the challenges and solutions of supplier enablement. Tim was previously a Director at OFS Portal, an association of the world’s largest Oilfield Services companies. Here he designed, developed and deployed a catalog management system and involved in the specification and selection of an electronic routing hub; used by the OFS Portal members to significantly reduce the expenses incurred in doing eBusiness. Tim currently serves as the Chair PIDX Standards and Guidelines Committee, where he has helped lead efforts to create industry standard Business Processes and XML Messaging Standards. |
Andy Ross
| Andy has almost 15 years of technology development and implementation, project management and consulting experience. Prior to joining eirô consulting, he founded Business Web Technologies where he consulted for Schlumberger and BP in the areas of ecommerce and supplier enablement. Andy was previously with Digital Oilfield, where he served as Product Manager, Integration and was responsible for architecting integration solutions for the company’s multiple product lines, and for developing a multi-tiered supplier integration strategy that resulted in a supplier network of over 3000. Andy is a past-Chairman of the PIDX Business Messages Workgroup. |
Chris Welsh
![]() | Chris has over 20 years of technology, eCommerce and consulting experience. Most recently he was Customer e-Procurement Project Manager for Baker Hughes Inc, where he was responsible for managing e-Procurement initiatives and B-2-B integration between Baker Hughes and its Oilfield customers. During his ten years with Baker Hughes he has held a variety of IT and Project Management positions in both the Eastern and Western Hemispheres and was responsible for IT service delivery on a global basis. Chris is the Chairman of PIDX Europe and a past-Vice Chairman of the PIDX US Executive Committee. He holds an MSc in Computing for Commerce and Industry (Open University UK). |
